The Construction Planner role supports the Project Manager in managing a multi-million dollar project portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager by coordinating project activities including attending and documenting project meetings, and facilitating communications with clients and partners.
- Manage contract documents, project estimates, and schedules meticulously.
- Handle and accelerate project data processing using PMWeb software.
- Assist in preparing various documentation for meetings, bids, and presentations.
- Coordinate timely ordering and delivery of materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with the project controls team to verify any changes in project scope, schedule, or budget as directed by the Project Manager.
- Evaluate contractor payment applications ensuring compliance with required procedures.
- Organize project photographic documentation to track progress.
- Compile and distribute project close-out records and documents.
Required Qualifications
- Background in Construction, Construction Project Management, Facilities Management, or relevant accredited education/certifications.
- Understanding of construction costs, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering concepts and practices.
- Familiarity with accounting processes.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and the ability to analyze design drawings and specifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a STEM discipline related to construction.
- At least 2 years' experience in construction or construction project management.
- Proven capability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary range for this position in Florida is $75,700 to $101,400. Actual pay may vary based on internal equity, geographic location, expertise, and skills.
