Compliance Officer

About the Role

Pennell Hart is a Legal & Compliance Executive Search firm operating in the UAE, currently supporting an Abu Dhabi-based investment company in recruiting a Compliance Officer. This role entails reporting directly to the General Counsel and involves overseeing the formulation, execution, and ongoing monitoring of the legal and regulatory compliance structure for the group and its subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities

The incumbent will ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations, embed effective compliance policies and controls, and maintain oversight across a wide-ranging portfolio of entities and investments.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

Applicants must possess between 8 and 10 years of professional experience, with a proven history of working within the UAE context. Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory. Practical knowledge of the UAE Capital Market Authority (CMA, formerly Securities and Commodities Authority - SCA) and Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) regulatory frameworks is critical for success in this role.

Preferred backgrounds include those with experience in listed companies, investment groups, financial services firms, holding companies, or government-affiliated organizations.
