Role Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical professional to oversee the governance, verification, and management of Vodafone's sales incentive programs. This role ensures the commission payments are accurate by validating data, reviewing transactions, liaising with stakeholders, and generating reports. The successful candidate will enhance control mechanisms, refine commission processes, and provide insights to support sales outcomes and corporate goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Govern and administer sales incentive schemes ensuring all commission transactions adhere to established compensation plans and policies.
  • Handle commission operations such as managing payee setups, maintaining target letter governance, conducting payroll reconciliations, and validating performance data.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Commercial, and other teams to resolve queries, discrepancies, and exceptions related to commissions.
  • Audit commission-related data across various systems to guarantee data integrity and precise payments.
  • Spot data quality and process issues or control weaknesses, proposing corrective measures and championing continuous improvement.
  • Deliver regular and special reports on commission performance, payment accuracy, exceptions, and operational key performance indicators.
  • Analyze incentive and performance datasets to detect trends, risks, and opportunities for boosting the effectiveness of sales compensation programs.
  • Create and improve reporting dashboards to increase transparency of incentive performance and governance metrics.
  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual commission cycles with validation, reconciliation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Participate in implementing new compensation plans, governance frameworks, process upgrades, and system enhancements.
  • Assist the Commission Review Board by ensuring precise documentation, accurately recording decisions, and tracking actions.

Candidate Profile

  • Professional experience in sales compensation, sales operations, business or commercial operations, finance, or related analytical roles.
  • Comprehensive understanding of incentive compensation principles, commission governance, and sales performance management.
  • Strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving capability to interpret complex datasets and produce meaningful insights.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive financial and compensation information with accuracy.
  • Proven stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of collaborating with multiple departments.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands while delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.
  • Dedication to continuous improvement, process simplification, and reinforcing operational controls.
  • Relevant degree in Economics, Informatics, Mathematics, or closely related field.
  • Advanced expertise with Microsoft 365, especially Excel.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English at an advanced level.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP; experience with Power BI and commission software tools is advantageous.
