Role Overview

As a Commis 2 Chef at Waldorf Astoria Doha Lusail, you will support the kitchen team by preparing dishes to the brand’s standards and helping create a memorable guest experience through consistently high-quality food service.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare menu items by following the assigned recipes, portioning, and quality benchmarks.
• Handle guest orders efficiently while contributing to a smooth and pleasant dining experience.
• Work confidently with more advanced recipes, monitor station operations, support quality checks, and help with inventory review.
• Check dishes before they leave the kitchen to make sure taste, appearance, and presentation are up to standard.
• Keep food preparation areas clean, organized, fully stocked, and compliant with food safety and hygiene practices.
• Raise requisitions for food and kitchen supplies whenever stock needs replenishment.
• Follow all applicable health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness rules to protect guests and team members.
