CNC Turning Programmer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced CNC Turning Programmer to join our team at Sri Koteswara Cam Systems Pvt Ltd, located in IDA Phase 3, Cherlapally, Hyderabad. The candidate will report directly to the Production Manager and play a pivotal role in programming and optimizing CNC Turning and Turn-Mill machines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CNC programs specific to Turning and Turn-Mill operations.
• Plan and organize tooling, machining processes, and machine setups efficiently.
• Interpret engineering blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) standards accurately.
• Identify and resolve machining issues to enhance cycle time performance.
• Lead and provide guidance to a team of CNC Turning Operators to achieve operational goals.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and productivity ensuring timely project completion.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Completion of ITI in Turner/Machinist trades or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in CNC Turning Programming.
• Prior experience in aerospace and defence manufacturing sectors is a plus.

Skills and Competencies

• Proficient in CNC Turning and Turn-Mill operations with in-depth understanding of Fanuc controls.
• Knowledge of tooling and precision machining techniques.
• Strong leadership qualities combined with problem-solving and effective communication skills.
