Role Overview

We are looking for a Clearance Broker to join our Customs Clearance team at our Ljubljana, Slovenia location. This position involves meticulous review and management of shipment data and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and smooth clearance processes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze shipment details carefully to confirm they meet both customer needs and regulatory standards, ensuring all paperwork is complete and accurate.
• Utilize internal systems to generate compliant customs clearance declarations.
• Communicate proactively with customers and government authorities to clarify information as necessary.
• Resolve straightforward disputes involving customers or customs agencies efficiently.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to guide them towards the most suitable clearance services.
• Operate effectively under tight deadlines within a high-paced office environment.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively within a busy team environment.
• Familiarity or experience with customs clearance principles, including Import/Export regulations, CHIEF entries, and commercial flight processing considered advantageous.
• Customer-centric mindset coupled with strong communication capabilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to make precise numerical assessments under time constraints.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and general computer skills.
