About the Role
Join Ventia as a Cleaning Team Leader overseeing cleaning operations across Youth Justice locations in Parkville, Little River, and Malmsbury in Victoria, Australia. This permanent full-time position involves supervising multiple teams to maintain impeccable cleanliness standards in secure facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support three cleaning teams across various Youth Justice sites.
- Conduct quality inspections and audits to ensure adherence to standards.
- Deliver toolbox talks and provide on-site coaching to team members.
- Assist with shift coverage during staffing shortages.
- Manage reporting and relevant administrative duties.
- Collaborate closely with site management teams.
- Engage hands-on to support the team during high-pressure situations.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within cleaning, such as Cleaning Supervisor or Team Leader.
- Comprehensive knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment, chemicals, and processes.
- Experience performing inspections, quality checks, or audits.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with confidence using computers and digital tools.
- Valid Victorian Driver's Licence.
- Current Working With Children Check and Police Check.
Work Details and Benefits
- Permanent full-time role, rostered Wednesday to Sunday, 6:45 PM to 2:21 AM.
- Hourly pay starting at $33.87 plus allowances, penalty rates, and superannuation.
