Civil Site Engineer

About the Role

Myshilpy Scary House's subsidiary Magic District seeks an active Civil Site Engineer to directly manage and supervise construction and interior fit-out projects for entertainment-related attractions. This role involves overseeing day-to-day site activities, managing various contractors and workers, ensuring timely project delivery, maintaining quality, and facilitating seamless site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all civil and interior construction work at project locations aligned with approved plans, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Manage, lead, and assign daily tasks to various trades including carpenters, painters, electricians, welders, fabricators, plumbers, laborers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Control attendance and productivity of workforce and resolve on-site challenges swiftly to prevent delays.
• Conduct quality inspections throughout project stages to ensure superior finishing and rectify defects promptly.
• Verify material availability, coordinate procurement with purchase teams, and maintain cleanliness and workflow at site.
• Prepare and maintain execution schedules; monitor project milestones and implement recovery actions if delays occur.
• Track material use, prevent waste, verify delivery quality/quantity, and keep stock records.
• Coordinate consistently with vendors and contractors regarding deliveries, work approval, deadlines, and quality standards.
• Enforce health and safety protocols, conduct safety inspections, ensure PPE usage, and maintain an accident-free environment.
• Maintain thorough documentation including daily progress reports, labor attendance records, material consumption logs, weekly status reports, and photographic records, communicating updates to management.
• Collaborate with the Operations Team to reduce disruptions, support installation, testing, commissioning, and post-project maintenance.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Three to eight years of experience in construction, interior fit-outs, retail, malls, theme parks, entertainment venues or commercial projects.
• Proficient in civil construction and interior fit-out processes, carpentry, painting, electrical and plumbing coordination.
• Ability to read, interpret architectural, structural and electrical drawings.
• Strong leadership and workforce management capabilities.
• Excellent planning, scheduling, communication, problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Familiar with construction safety standards and practices.
• Technical knowledge including material estimation, BOQ comprehension, and software like AutoCAD (preferred), MS Excel, and MS Project (preferred).

Preferred Experience

Candidates with a background in theme parks, entertainment attractions, family entertainment centers, shopping malls, retail fit-outs, commercial interiors, hospitality projects, or large experiential spaces will be favored.

Employment Terms

• Full-time position based in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India.
• Monthly remuneration between 25000 and 27000 INR.
