Role Overview

As Chief Operations Officer, based full-time at our San Francisco Bay Area headquarters, you will ensure seamless operations and maintain order within this complex, international venture. Your responsibilities encompass overseeing operations, human resources, administration, bookkeeping, scheduling, and procurement. Key personal qualities include calmness under pressure, meticulousness, resourcefulness, organizational skills, attention to efficiency, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational procedures from the ground up.
• Establish and manage operations centers domestically and internationally, with preference for candidates fluent in Spanish and experienced in diverse cultural business environments.
• Design and execute recruitment processes to identify, assess, and secure excellent talent.
• Oversee procurement, sourcing, and logistics of physical hardware.
• Set up workshops, workspaces, and production facilities.
• Create systems enabling rapid and clear operation of a dynamic technical team.
• Transform broad and ambiguous challenges into well-structured execution strategies.

Requirements

• Possession of a valid passport.
• Willingness to travel extensively both domestically and internationally.
• Proactive problem-solving attitude.
• Highly favorable qualifications: fluency in Spanish, five or more years of relevant experience (including doctoral-level qualifications), prior experience managing operations with critical consequences, familiarity with Latin American business practices and culture, bachelor's degree or higher, US work authorization, a driving license with personal transportation, and a positive, personable demeanor.
