Position Overview

As a Catering Lead at Panera, you will play an essential role in managing catering services. You'll assist guests in planning events by recommending delicious Panera dishes, addressing their questions and needs, and ensuring smooth and timely delivery of their orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and fulfill catering orders to meet guest expectations.
• Deliver warm, friendly service with clear communication and proactive follow-up to guarantee guest satisfaction.
• Support order deliveries at events to ensure timely service.
• Strictly comply with health and food safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain Panera's high-quality food standards.
• Promote enthusiasm for Panera's catering options within the local community including businesses, schools, and events.
• Provide assistance to managers and team members as necessary.
• Contribute to fostering a workplace culture of warmth, inclusivity, growth, and trust.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Knowledge of basic food safety practices and completion of food handler certification where required by law.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Self-motivated with the capability to achieve goals independently.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license, a reliable personal vehicle for delivering orders, and a clean driving record.
• Flexibility to work varied hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Physical capability to lift and carry loads between 25 to 50 pounds, and stand or walk for up to three hours.
• Clear verbal communication skills to understand and follow directions effectively in noisy surroundings.

• The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $17.13 to $20.25.
