Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome every customer with politeness and friendliness.
• Efficiently handle all purchase transactions, ensuring proper deactivation of merchandise in line with the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) Program.
• Inform customers about company-sponsored programs including credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable campaigns.
• Help customers by bagging and loading their purchased items.
• Observe safe working practices such as correct lifting techniques and maintaining a tidy work environment.
• Maintain the security and accuracy of the cash register by carefully managing cash, complying with company policies, and staying alert to surroundings.
• When necessary, direct service or transactional concerns to a Customer Service Manager.

Compensation

The starting wage for this Cashier role begins at $16.15 per hour.
