About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Case Manager to join the Queensland Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Claims team at QBE Insurance, based in Brisbane, QLD. This permanent full-time position offers a hybrid work environment with flexible working options. The key responsibility is to support injured persons through their recovery after motor vehicle accidents by managing claims with empathy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service at every interaction.
  • Support injured individuals by facilitating their recovery journey and liaising with healthcare professionals, treatment providers, solicitors, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage end-to-end claims processing under the guidance of leadership.
  • Obtain and utilise clinical data to develop effective case management strategies in compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Employ negotiation skills to resolve claims effectively.
  • Adapt and perform well in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Continuously build knowledge and skill through handling various claims and challenges.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in insurance claims management or personal injury management, preferably within the insurance sector.
  • Strong customer focus with empathetic and caring communication over the phone.
  • Resilient, decisive, and capable of empowerment in making informed decisions.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability to devise plans that address challenges effectively.
  • Excellent prioritisation skills to manage workload efficiently.
