Business Unit Lead Controller

Role Overview

As the Business Unit Lead Controller based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, you will be responsible for ensuring financial clarity and control across light manufacturing operations. This involves detailed labor cost analysis, management of capital expenditures, and collaboration with various business units and international teams to provide comprehensive KPI insights and support budgetary planning. Your role will emphasize driving operational excellence through enhanced financial data transparency and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain alignment with established controlling policies, standards, and procedures.
• Monitor financial outcomes, generating performance reports and accurate forecasts.
• Supervise financial data analysis and oversee operational budget assessments daily.
• Manage month-end closing activities including data aggregation and ledger scrutiny.
• Lead the automation of financial workflows and develop dynamic reporting tools using Tableau or Power BI.
• Collaborate with distribution center leadership to advance business processes and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a similar discipline is mandatory.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience with minimum 3 years in a managerial role.
• Solid expertise in cost accounting, especially related to labor and overhead cost calculations.
• Proficient in SAP FICO alongside advanced competency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication abilities combined with a cooperative, team-focused approach.
• Demonstrated success in performing financial analysis to inform strategic, data-driven decisions.
