Position Overview
JSW Sports is seeking an experienced Business Head to spearhead and expand its content division. This senior leadership position entails full accountability for both creative content production and digital platform growth across integrated verticals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the entire P&L for the content agency and digital platforms, ensuring targeted revenue, profit, and growth milestones are achieved.
- Formulate and implement comprehensive business strategies and operating frameworks, including go-to-market initiatives and proprietary content development.
- Drive business expansion by pitching to potential clients, preparing proposals, and delivering compelling commercial presentations.
- Establish and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders from brands, media agencies, and other partners, expertly negotiating lucrative contracts and collaborations.
- Oversee audience acquisition strategies across multiple digital mediums such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X, OTT, and emerging platforms while optimizing monetization through branded content, sponsorships, licensing, and syndication.
- Build and mentor a skilled team spanning content creation, strategy, partnership management, production, and analytics, while closely monitoring business KPIs via dashboards.
- Collaborate extensively across departments including Commercial, Marketing, Digital, Athlete Management, Legal, Finance, and HR to ensure efficient execution.
Candidate Profile
- Over 12 years of significant experience in fields like content creation, digital media, publishing, sports, or entertainment sectors.
- A proven history of establishing and scaling content businesses from the ground up with full financial oversight.
- In-depth expertise in branded content, digital revenue strategies, business development, and managing strategic partnerships.
- Comprehensive understanding of digital content ecosystems, methods of audience engagement, and platform economic models.
- Entrepreneurial drive and capability to grow enterprises from inception to maturity.
