Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will spearhead the expansion of Virtuos's presence across Norway, Finland, Cyprus, Turkey, Central Europe, and the Middle East, focusing particularly on mid-market segments. The role involves forging and sustaining lasting client relationships, spotting new opportunities, and working alongside internal teams to deliver customized solutions yielding client success.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a robust opportunity pipeline to meet sales goals, efficiently overcoming client challenges and fostering internal communication.
  • Oversee the Salesforce system and pipeline management for the assigned regions.
  • Strategically manage and grow existing accounts to boost revenues and deepen client relations.
  • Collaborate with production teams to assess opportunities, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and oversee client visits and due diligence.
  • Coordinate after-sales support by regularly connecting with clients to gauge satisfaction and preempt future needs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely use of sales communication systems for reporting and forecasting.
  • Counteract competitive market threats effectively.
  • Represent Virtuos at critical industry events to maintain brand presence.
  • Partner with the Director of Business Development (Europe) to enhance interregional communication and standardize update methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or comparable experience.
  • 3 to 4 years of business development experience in a related industry.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with direct and external partners.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing effective development strategies.
  • Driven, focused, and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent in English; bilingual fluency including French or other languages is advantageous.
