About the Role
Empathex Services Private Limited is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead a dynamic team in Chennai. This role requires a strong leader with experience in food delivery or quick commerce industries such as Zomato or Swiggy. The manager will be responsible for overseeing team performance, maintaining operational quality, and driving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise team productivity, attendance, and overall performance metrics.
- Organize regular team meetings, coaching sessions, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Ensure strict compliance with process protocols and quality benchmarks.
- Address and resolve escalations and operational challenges promptly.
- Compile and communicate daily performance data to management.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Encourage and motivate the team to consistently meet or exceed business targets.
Requirements
- At least 3 to 4 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Prior experience with food delivery or quick commerce platforms like Zomato or Swiggy preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills paired with analytical and problem-solving strengths.
- Proficient in MS Excel and capable in performance reporting.
- Comfortable working under fast-paced and dynamic operational conditions.
- Preference for immediate joiners.
Compensation & Location
The monthly salary ranges between ₹30,000 to ₹50,000. This position is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
