Business Analyst

Overview

Innova Solutions, a leading provider of talent and technology solutions established in 1998 and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking a Business Analyst with significant experience in the finance or banking domain. The company has a global presence with a workforce of about 50,000 and annual revenue nearing $3 billion.

Role Summary

This position, based in Bengaluru at the client location, TCS Bangalore, is focused on requirement analysis, documentation, and stakeholder communication primarily within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements including preparation and updating of SRS, BRD, and RTM documents.
• Serve as a primary functional liaison with clients and internal stakeholders, addressing domain-specific queries and challenges.
• Ensure clear and effective communication among project stakeholders explaining functional requirements and solutions.
• Collaborate with development and testing teams during UAT phases and coordinate issue resolution.
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver accurate financial analysis and effective prototypes or forecasts.
• Understand accounting principles and finance regulations to inform documentation and decision-making.

Requirements

• 5 to 6 years of professional experience as a Business or Functional Analyst within finance or banking domains.
• Deep knowledge of the SDLC process and requirement gathering methodologies.
• Experience in writing clear and concise functional documentation.
• Preferably familiarity with testing concepts and SQL skills, though SQL is not mandatory.
• Excellent communication capabilities for working with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong familiarity with financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting techniques.
