Business Analyst

About the Role

A global financial organization is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst for a fully remote contractual engagement. The role focuses on data analysis and translating insights into strategic business recommendations within corporate real estate and related domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine internal and external datasets to identify patterns, evaluate performance, and aid business strategy formulation.
• Convert analytical insights into clear, actionable advice to support functions such as product development, marketing, and operations.
• Create and maintain dashboards, business reports, and key performance indicator (KPI) metrics to track progress and initiatives.
• Develop and manage reporting structures including defining reporting schedules and delivering reports to senior leadership.
• Collaborate across departments to specify data requirements and assist with business planning efforts.
• Guarantee data quality and accuracy in all reporting outputs by instituting validation mechanisms and working closely with data owners.
• Prepare data-driven presentations and reports communicating significant findings and strategic guidance to senior management and non-technical stakeholders.
• Offer on-demand analytical support for various strategic and operational projects.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least five years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a comparable role.
• Background in or strong interest related to corporate real estate, facilities management, or construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Data Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail.
• Robust business sense, able to link data outcomes directly to practical business decisions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to clearly convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proven experience interacting effectively with senior leadership.
• Strong interpersonal abilities to foster effective relationships at all organizational levels and with external stakeholders.
• Expertise in Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau or Cognos for building dashboards and reports.
• Demonstrated skill in collecting, analyzing, and documenting intricate business requirements methodically.

Compensation and Work Setup

This remote contract offers a negotiable pay rate between $77.00 and $82.00 per hour, contingent on experience.
