Business Analyst

Overview

This role of Business Analyst operates remotely but requires the candidate to reside locally to Richardson, TX or Chicago, IL. The pay rate ranges from $50 to $55 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision demonstrating robust multitasking skills.
• Write and validate complex SQL queries to extract data from databases such as Oracle, SAS, Teradata, or other reporting tools.
• Use and develop SQL queries for reporting purposes within various database environments.
• Utilize MS Office Suite effectively, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, and Visio.
• Apply understanding of NCQA HEDIS quality measures and associated code value sets.
• Analyze and cleanse raw data, working extensively with ETL processes, data mining, and various reporting applications.
• Handle data types linked to Health Insurance Exchange (HIX), Electronic Medical Record (EMR), and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Support and promote relationships between health plans and provider or vendor communities through strong interpersonal skills.
• Exhibit initiative in self-directed learning and independent troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
• Communicate complex data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively within teams to achieve common objectives.
• Transform complex datasets into structured, comprehensible reports.
• Present findings and lead meetings with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excel in a dynamic environment managing multiple tasks and project deadlines concurrently.
