Brand & Content Lead

About the Role

Mayker is seeking an insightful and design-savvy Brand & Content Lead to oversee and enhance the company's brand image across various channels. This position involves shaping how Mayker communicates its presence to the world through social media, email newsletters, website narratives, and branded materials. The Brand & Content Lead is responsible for ensuring all public-facing content embodies the visual style, tone, and attention to detail that represent Mayker's work ethos.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and advance Mayker’s visual and written brand voice consistently across platforms.
• Plan and implement content strategies for Instagram, email marketing campaigns, and the company website.
• Convert projects, partnerships, and internal initiatives into compelling stories that align with the brand.
• Guarantee uniformity and high quality throughout all brand materials, both physical and digital.
• Create and sustain a steady flow of brand communications year-round.
• Design seasonal marketing campaigns to spotlight Mayker's services.
• Identify and pursue partnerships, collaborations, and media features to raise brand visibility.
• Support relationship-building efforts with event planners, venues, and creative collaborators.
• Develop and monitor a content calendar spanning social, email, and web engagements.
• Analyze key performance indicators on Instagram, email campaigns, and website visits to guide content decisions.
• Use data-driven insights to adjust and optimize content strategies for better audience engagement.
• Collaborate closely with leadership, client services, and production teams to align storytelling with current company projects.
• Attend key events and installations as needed to capture brand-relevant content.
• Create brand collateral including promotional assets, presentations, and branded merchandise.
• Produce visual materials that support marketing campaigns ensuring adherence to Mayker’s aesthetic standards.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses strong visual design instincts and a keen sense for aesthetics.
• Excellent communicator able to craft clear, engaging copy that remains authentic to the brand’s voice.
• Strategically minded and curious, using content performance metrics to refine and inform future campaigns.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining a cohesive and polished brand image.
• Balanced between strategic planning and hands-on content creation and publishing.
• Collaborative and comfortable working closely with various teams across the company.

Additional Information

• This full-time position typically requires about 40 hours weekly, but a part-time schedule of 20+ hours is negotiable for strong candidates.
• While primarily based in Nashville, remote applicants may be considered if they demonstrate excellent communication and performance capabilities.
• Periodic attendance at events or installations is beneficial to capture authentic storytelling content and stay connected with company projects.
• Mayker is a small, collaborative team environment, so candidates should be eager to both conceptualize ideas and execute them independently.
• Applicants advancing in the process will be requested to submit a portfolio and potentially complete a brief creative exercise reflective of the Mayker brand.
• Annual compensation ranges from $55,000 to $75,000, or the equivalent hourly rate, dependent on experience and skills.
• Key tools utilized in this role include Adobe Creative Suite (notably InDesign), Canva, Clickup, Google Workspace (including Google Analytics), social media platforms (Instagram), Klaviyo, and Slack.
