Job Overview

The Branch Accountant will handle creating precise quotations, processing client orders, managing cash collections, issuing financial documents, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. They will work closely with other departments to maintain seamless daily operations while adhering strictly to company policies and financial controls.

Key Duties

• Prepare detailed and professional quotations for external clients and actively pursue closure.
• Interact directly with companies and customers, promptly receiving and addressing their orders.
• Track customer orders through to completion, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
• Oversee cash handling and transfers with full accountability and accuracy.
• Coordinate with branch collectors to monitor collection amounts and reconcile customer accounts.
• Conduct meticulous cash reconciliations and safeguard cash management protocols.
• Issue invoices, receipts, and refunds while accurately recording all financial transactions timely.
• Collaborate with sales teams to ensure fulfillment of customer orders and uninterrupted operations.
• Validate invoices, delivery notes, and other financial and inventory documentation.
• Maintain well-organized financial records supporting audit and reporting requirements.
• Comply with all company internal controls, policies, and financial guidelines to safeguard assets.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related discipline is preferable.
• Between one and three years of experience in accounting, cashiering, or cash management roles.
• Strong foundation in accounting principles, experienced with billing/POS systems; knowledge of Odoo ERP is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, highly organized, and attentive to detail.
