Job description
Overview
We are recruiting a BIM Manager to oversee the digital modeling framework for a significant international infrastructure project— the construction of a new greenfield airport in Uzbekistan. This role commands the management and coordination of the 3D BIM model up to LOD 400/500, ensuring compliance with the BIM Execution Plan for both PMC and EPC teams.
Primary Responsibilities
- Implement the BIM Execution Plan across project management consultant (PMC) and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) teams.
- Lead the process of automated clash detection that spans architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Maintain dynamic updates to the digital twin reflecting site variations and change orders.
- Deliver an accurate and clean As-Built BIM model integrated into the airport’s Facility Management system.
- Conduct routine audits and quality checks of the BIM models ensuring conformity to LOD and coordination standards.
- Serve as the central BIM liaison among Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), EPC contractor, PMC, and consulting entities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Over 10 years of experience in civil engineering or architecture with at least 5 years in a BIM managerial or lead role.
- Proven experience managing at least one major large-scale infrastructure project, such as an airport, metro, or high-speed rail system.
- Expert skills in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks Manage software.
- Proficiency in BIM 360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud platforms for common data environment management.
- Working knowledge of Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, and systems integrating asset management.
- Requires a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
Additional Information
This position requires on-site presence in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, to closely supervise the digital construction model from design through final as-built delivery, contributing to a landmark infrastructure development.
