Role Overview

The Bellman plays a vital part in delivering excellent guest service, ensuring smooth arrivals and departures by assisting with luggage, offering helpful information about the hotel and surrounding attractions, and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests and aid them with their luggage.
• Escort guests to their rooms while informing them about hotel facilities and services.
• Facilitate guest transportation needs including taxi arrangements and valet parking.
• Address guest questions promptly, offering guidance on directions, dining options, and other requests.
• Maintain the tidiness and organization of the lobby and luggage storage areas.
• Respond efficiently and professionally to guest requests to enhance satisfaction.
• Cooperate with other departments to ensure consistent and smooth guest experiences.
• Follow all hotel policies concerning guest service, safety, and confidentiality.
• Support special projects or additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience in a relevant hospitality role is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage tasks under pressure within a busy environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and a positive demeanor.
• Capability to lift and carry heavy luggage safely.
• Familiarity with local attractions, eateries, and transport options is beneficial.
