Batcher - Concrete

Role Overview

Boral is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Batcher to join our Concrete team located in West Bathurst, NSW. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will be pivotal in producing high-quality concrete products, ensuring the plant operates smoothly, and delivering outstanding service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Precisely batching concrete according to mix designs and customer specifications
• Handling the day's batch plant operations and related administrative duties
• Scheduling truck allocation and coordinating deliveries to optimize efficiency
• Overseeing product quality to maintain compliance with operational standards
• Keeping the plant environment safe, clean, and well-organized
• Operating front-end loader equipment when necessary (training provided)
• Providing support for agitator truck operations as needed

Candidate Profile

• Experience as a Concrete Batcher or familiarity with the concrete production sector
• In-depth knowledge of concrete manufacturing processes and quality criteria
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities to manage multiple tasks
• Competency with computer systems and plant operation software
• Effective communication and team collaboration skills
• Dedication to workplace safety and fostering a positive team environment
• Holding or willingness to obtain HR licence and/or front-end loader ticket is advantageous
