Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position requires the Barista to skillfully prepare and serve espresso beverages, brewed coffee, teas, and other drinks aligned with café standards. Duties include taking customer orders, preparing beverages and bakery items, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the workspace, and replenishing inventory as needed. The Barista also handles accurate cash transactions, operates the point-of-sale system, and assists with opening and closing tasks. The key focus is on providing prompt, friendly service to ensure a smooth and inviting café environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in making espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, and café beverages.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to engage customers and foster a welcoming environment.
• Effective communication abilities for interacting with both guests and team members.
• Competence in food preparation, particularly with bakery items, ensuring safety and consistency.
• Basic understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
• Physical capability to stand for long durations and perform tasks involving lifting and moving supplies.
• Previous experience in cafés, restaurants, or hospitality is beneficial but not mandatory.
