Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Develop and architect scalable backend services leveraging Node.js and Express.js frameworks.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs tailored for both mobile and web frontends.
• Incorporate secure authentication and authorization protocols using JWT technology.
• Design, implement, and manage MongoDB database schemas utilizing Mongoose.
• Optimize database query performance to ensure scalability and efficiency.
• Apply caching strategies with Redis to enhance system responsiveness where appropriate.
• Develop asynchronous job processing using RabbitMQ for handling heavy workloads.
• Integrate third-party services like OneSignal or Firebase for delivering push notifications.
• Handle file storage solutions efficiently through AWS S3 for media content.
• Implement email communication services using AWS Simple Email Service (SES).
• Deploy applications on AWS EC2 instances with Application Load Balancer setups for load distribution.
• Monitor infrastructure health and logs via AWS CloudWatch.
• Utilize containerization with Docker and manage application processes with PM2.
• Collaborate closely with frontend and mobile development teams ensuring smooth API consumption.
• Maintain code quality standards using GitLab version control system integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
• Document APIs thoroughly and conduct endpoint testing using Postman.

Educational Qualifications

• B.Tech or B.E. degree in Computer Science or related engineering disciplines.
• Emphasis placed on demonstrated talent over formal qualifications.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Proven experience in architecting scalable backend systems for social networking or marketplace applications.
• Strong grasp of system design principles and microservices-based architecture.
• Capability to manage high throughput data environments and concurrent user sessions.
• Familiarity with real-time system implementations and event-driven programming models.
• Experience in deploying cloud-native applications with Docker containers.
• Knowledge of security best practices including API protection and secure communications.
• Work experience with media-rich applications involving images and video processing.
• Understanding of admin panel integration involving ReactJS and API-driven dashboards.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with a B.Com degree in any specialization, or a B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) are eligible to apply.
