Role Summary
The ASL Brisbane Engineering Line Station is seeking a skilled Storesperson to manage aviation store inventory and coordination activities integral to operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming parts before goods receipt allocation and storage.
- Manage unserviceable items by restocking, repackaging, returning to suppliers, or dispatching for repairs.
- Oversee tool calibration controls and monitor shelf life of components.
- Maintain stock via the internal Quantum computer system.
- Adhere to Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE), RSQCM, and related engineering procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Dangerous Goods regulations during dispatch and receipt processes.
- Maintain stock levels by raising minimum level reports within Quantum.
- Perform periodic stock audits for accuracy and financial reporting needs.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Proven background in aviation stores management or maintenance logistics.
- Familiarity with aviation materials, tools, equipment, and terminologies.
- Understanding of applicable safety and regulatory standards.
- Strong organizational capabilities and effective communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail with precise record-keeping abilities.
