Audiovisual & Communication Intern

About the Role

LAKMÉ is seeking an Audiovisual & Communication Intern to join its Marketing team at headquarters in Kentucky. If you are passionate about content creation, social media, and the audiovisual field, this opportunity lets you grow your skills in a vibrant, creative, and international environment. You will engage in communication and marketing projects, actively contributing to content development that connects with our professional community and enhances our brand presence.

Reporting to the Product Manager, your learning objectives and duties will include:

• Assisting in the audiovisual organization and coverage of client events, including preparing welcome packs and generating social media content.
• Recording, editing, and publishing short-format audiovisual material for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
• Designing graphic content for social networks and communication campaigns using Canva, Photoshop, or other creative tools.
• Supporting photography and video sessions by aiding in preparation, recording, and managing audiovisual materials.
• Adapting messages and content to the brand's visual identity and positioning.
• Identifying trends, viral formats, audios, and styles to suggest new content ideas.
• Collaborating with the Marketing and Communication team on various corporate projects and campaigns.

Required Qualifications

• Currently studying Communication, Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, or related fields.
• Basic proficiency with Canva, Photoshop, or similar design software.
• Familiarity with AI tools applied to content creation.
• Experience using video editing software such as CapCut, Premiere, or equivalents.
• Basic knowledge of photography and video recording with DSLR cameras.
• Keen interest in social media, digital communication, and content trends.
• Creativity, proactivity, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
• Strong communication abilities and teamwork skills.

Preferred Attributes

• A portfolio or samples showcasing audiovisual content or social media posts.
• Previous personal or academic experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube.
