Associate Manager Production - Handbags

Role Overview

The Associate Manager Production for Handbags will actively participate in seasonal production meetings and facilitate effective communication regarding product details across internal departments and external vendors from concept initiation through final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend all in-season production-related meetings and ensure seamless information flow to teams and suppliers.
• Organize and oversee time and action schedules to comply with the company's Product Development Calendar.
• Maintain up-to-date seasonal cost sheets, convey initial cost estimates and targets to vendors, and conduct cost negotiations when necessary.
• Manage sample requests, monitor sample progress to meet deadlines, uphold quality standards, and align with design expectations.
• Participate in fit sessions to confirm accurate measurements and ensure timely sample corrections according to established fit guidelines.
• Serve as a communication link among internal teams, suppliers, and factories, ensuring style details and timing requirements are consistently tracked and conveyed.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 2 to 3 years of professional experience in production or product management.
• Demonstrate expertise in garment costing procedures.
• Understand and utilize time and action calendar management.
• Exhibit strong communication skills, excellent organization, and reliable follow-up capabilities.
• Have working knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications.
