Job Overview

Our client, a high-end fashion brand, is in search of an Associate eCommerce Operations Manager based in the New York City area. The role demands supporting digital commerce performance by managing daily e-commerce operations and ensuring customers have a flawless online shopping experience. This position requires overseeing vendor relationships, optimizing order fulfillment, and utilizing data analysis to enhance operational efficiency and business results.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities covering order management, fulfillment, inventory control, and customer service processes to guarantee a seamless purchasing journey.
• Act as the principal point of contact between internal departments and external partners encompassing technology providers, logistics companies, fulfillment centers, and customer support vendors.
• Facilitate platform improvements, including systems integration, testing, and operational upgrades.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of product details, pricing, inventory status, and customer information across all e-commerce systems.
• Monitor and analyze sales, fulfillment, customer experience, and operational metrics to create insightful reports that guide leadership decisions.
• Collaborate across departments such as merchandising, marketing, finance, retail, technology, and operations.
• Manage and evaluate vendor performance, promptly resolve operational challenges, and promote continuous process enhancements to improve customer satisfaction.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs), uphold service quality standards, and initiate ongoing process optimizations.

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in e-commerce operations, digital commerce, or related business areas.
• Preferred background in luxury, fashion, retail, or consumer product sectors.
• Practical knowledge of e-commerce platforms and order management systems with experience in digital operational workflows.
• Hands-on involvement in fulfillment, inventory oversight, customer service, and logistics operations.
• Strong preference for candidates familiar with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
• Excellent analytical and reporting abilities to convert data into meaningful business insights.
• Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Effective project and organizational management skills combined with strong stakeholder coordination capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-speed environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
• Problem-solving aptitude with proven success in driving operational enhancements.
• Experience working with third-party vendors, service providers, and cross-functional teams.
• A customer-centric approach focused on delivering superior consumer experiences.
• Willingness to travel as business needs dictate.
• Bachelor's degree or comparable professional experience is desirable.
