Role Overview

The Assistant Store Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager with daily operations aimed at achieving sales goals. This position involves leading and developing store staff to enhance profitability, uphold the brand and company image, ensure compliance with operational standards, and deliver outstanding customer service. They also serve as the acting manager in the Store Manager’s absence, overseeing store activities and team management in line with company objectives at Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide the team to uphold high customer service standards, ensuring an excellent experience by understanding company and brand expectations, recognizing individual customer needs, and staying informed on market trends and competitors.
• Motivate store staff to consistently provide superior customer service.
• Forge and sustain professional relations with support teams, offering regular constructive feedback to Marketing, Buying, and Planning departments.
• Drive sales performance by proactively pursuing opportunities aligned with set key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Coordinate and execute sales promotions and brand campaigns, communicating effectively with support teams to optimize sales impact.
• Enhance sales prospects through consistent dialogue with Buying and Planning divisions.
• Ensure seamless store operations when managing the store in the manager’s absence and promptly address any operational disruptions.
• Enforce adherence to company policies and guidelines to reduce stock loss and prevent damage.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Additional qualifications in retail-related fields are advantageous.
• Have 4-5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong management capabilities.
