Assistant Service Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an Assistant Service Manager for our CUPRA dealership based in Coventry. This full-time position operates Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm, with additional Saturday shifts on a rota basis. The role offers a competitive basic salary of 38,000, accompanied by performance bonuses and benefits like a company car.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Service Manager hands-on to advance the department, achieve targets, and manage budgets effectively.
• Ensure the Service department operates efficiently and profitably.
• Optimize departmental performance by increasing sales of labor, parts, and accessories in alignment with market opportunities.
• Comply with all manufacturers27 policies and procedures.
• Assist in planning, forecasting, and meeting sales targets.
• Lead and develop the team for improved performance.
• Enhance workshop utilization and operational efficiency.
• Ensure customer satisfaction levels are exceeded consistently.
• Oversee daily operations ensuring smooth running of the Service Department.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant will have prior experience as a Service Advisor, Senior Service Advisor, or Workshop Controller and be ready to take the first step into a managerial position.
