Role Overview
Join Nudgee Beach Hotel as an Assistant Manager, a dynamic role requiring a hands-on leader ready to manage one of Brisbane's most vibrant hospitality venues. This role demands energy, leadership, and operational expertise across our busy bistro, gaming lounge, and other departments.
Key Duties
- Build strong relationships with local patrons, becoming a familiar and trusted figure within the community.
- Support the Publican in ensuring a smooth, safe, and engaging environment throughout the venue.
- Lead a dedicated team, fostering mentorship and driving high service standards.
- Address operational challenges proactively to maintain seamless service.
- Deliver exceptional energy and customer service during every shift.
Essential Requirements
- This role is physically demanding and involves manual tasks such as lifting and handling stock, kegs, and deliveries. Applicants must be capable of safely performing these duties.
- Applicants should have prior experience in bar, bistro, or gaming environments, with some supervisory exposure.
- Possess valid certifications including RSA/RSG, RMLV and an Approved Managers Licence as required by local regulations.
- Demonstrate confidence, pride, and interpersonal skills to represent the venue when senior management is unavailable.
