Role Overview

As the Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will support the leadership of the housekeeping department, ensuring exceptional cleanliness, comfort, and guest service. Your work will be vital to maintaining high standards and exceeding guest expectations through meticulous attention to detail and team guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing the housekeeping personnel.
• Oversee daily housekeeping operations to guarantee that guest rooms and public spaces uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Track productivity, monitor quality, enforce service standards, and ensure adherence to brand and hotel policies.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and other departments to streamline operations and enhance guest satisfaction.
• Perform regular inspections of guest rooms, public zones, and back-of-house areas to maintain quality levels.
• Help with staff scheduling, inventory management, procurement of supplies, and controlling costs.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training, and managing performance of team members.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and resolve concerns to maintain exceptional service quality.
• Ensure workplace safety by enforcing compliance with health, safety, and hygiene protocols.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a guest-oriented attitude with a strong desire to deliver outstanding service.
• Prior supervisory or managerial experience in housekeeping, preferably within luxury hotel settings.
• Demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Have strong organizational skills, effective time management, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce while maintaining a positive work environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and hotel property management software is advantageous.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
