Job Overview

The Architectural Designer will operate under the guidance of the project's Architect of Record, contributing to 3D modeling, design development, and creation of specialized architectural deliverables. This role requires handling multiple projects concurrently and collaborating closely with both architectural and engineering teams to assure precision and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive design and construction models including floor and ceiling plans, elevations, sections, and details using BIM software such as Revit.
• Produce drawings based on annotations provided by architectural team members.
• Review drawings to ensure adherence to CRB's documentation standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and construction staff to coordinate design efforts effectively.
• Support field investigations and facilitate data collection.
• Engage actively in drawing reviews, coordination discussions, and quality control processes.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Accredited professional degree in architecture (B.Arch, M.Arch, D.Arch) or equivalent Canadian/international qualification.
• Alternatively, an associate degree or technical certification combined with a minimum of two years’ experience in architectural, engineering, or construction firms is acceptable.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

• Proficiency with Revit and Microsoft Office products.
• Familiarity with Enscape, Navisworks, and AutoCAD software.
• Willingness to travel moderately for project assignments or training purposes.
• Accreditations such as LEED or WELL Certification indicating sustainability expertise are advantageous.
