Inception42 is seeking a skilled Applied Scientist with deep expertise in creating advanced deep learning and generative AI models. This position calls for a professional with a strong background in building efficient AI algorithms and collaborating closely with product teams to apply cutting-edge AI technologies across various applications.

As part of a rapidly advancing AI company, you will contribute to a broad AI service platform designed to be the leading AI Platform-as-a-Service for industries and developers. Inception42 serves as the UAE’s national-level AI research and development driver, partnering with Microsoft’s AI SaaS to deliver domain-specific AI orchestration platforms with reasoning agents. Our focus spans AI incubation, intellectual property development, applied AI research, and AI-driven investment products, all aimed at high-precision, efficient, domain-tailored models.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and refinement of foundational and applied AI research powering advanced algorithms and model capabilities, while keeping abreast of emerging AI trends and handling complex data sets.
• Develop integrated solutions combining modalities such as text, audio, and visuals to enhance machine understanding of human interactions.
• Partner with research and engineering teams to design, implement, and iteratively improve AI algorithms ensuring optimal efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with product development to embed new AI models into practical products and perform client-focused proofs of concept demonstrating tangible user benefits.
• Identify and propose AI-powered improvements to increase business process efficiency for customers.
• Provide technical assistance before and after sales to support the business development team’s efforts.

Candidate Qualifications

• Advanced degree (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) in computer science, engineering, or a related AI discipline, preferably specialized in Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, or Speech and Audio processing.
• At least 6 years of professional experience in developing AI algorithms across diverse data modalities.
• A proven research background demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications or product-focused research and development achievements.
• An investigative mindset combined with strong problem-solving curiosity.
• Up-to-date knowledge of AI and machine learning advancements.
• Excellent communication abilities.
