Job description
Role Overview
The Application Officer position is based in the Land Titles Division and reports directly to the Paralegal Specialist within the Legal Services Unit. This role primarily involves verifying that applications seeking to register land under the Registration of Titles Act, including Adverse Possession Applications, and their accompanying documentation, adhere strictly to the procedural standards set forth in both the Registration of Titles Act and the Registration of Titles Cadastral Mapping and Tenure Clarification (Special Provisions) Act.
Compensation
The remuneration for this role ranges between $1,711,060 and $2,301,185 annually.
Qualifications and Experience
- Completion of at least five (5) CXC/GCE O Level subjects, which must include English Language and a quantitative subject.
- Possession of a Paralegal Certificate or an equivalent credential is a mandatory requirement.
