Role Overview

We seek an exceptional AI Build Lead who will embody the customer’s perspective and manage the complete delivery lifecycle of sophisticated AI initiatives—from initial scoping through post-deployment—ensuring impactful results are delivered promptly and according to specifications. Collaborating closely with engineers, data scientists, and quality assurance specialists, this role thrives within a cross-disciplinary team environment. The AI Build Lead will be charged with the vision for use case delivery, clarifying project ROI for teams, and ensuring alignment with client expectations across our expanding AI delivery group.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary accountable individual for project delivery, overseeing specification, design, and outcome achievement throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Outline end-to-end customer journeys, define and scope AI use cases, manage changes in scope, and maintain client alignment.
• Document current processes during discovery phases and lead scoping workshops to translate client requirements into coherent AI solution designs.
• Identify and escalate delivery risks including major scope deviations and significant budget impacts.
• Perform thorough analysis of data, operational processes, and workflows to inform decisions and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams concerning project design, non-functional requirements, API discovery, feasibility assessments, and AI product readiness.
• Lead agile ceremonies and sprint activities, including creating and validating user stories, tracking project scope, and resolving impediments.
• Organize and conduct low-fidelity demos at key milestones while managing client expectations and stakeholder communication.
• Coordinate end-to-end User Acceptance Testing: facilitate kickoff, schedule review meetings, handle feedback triage, and make Go/No Go decisions with clients.
• Manage a portfolio of complex, sometimes ambiguous AI use cases across various industries and contribute to emerging AI projects.
• Act as the main customer liaison during builds by running regular status meetings.
• Work with Engagement Leads to translate client requirements into actionable use case execution plans and roadmaps.
• Support Engagement Leads by providing contextual updates and completion statuses for use cases.
• Participate in customer meetings to confirm requirements, handle concerns constructively, and maintain transparent communication.

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Technical Consultant, Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar delivery-focused positions within technology or AI domains.
• Practical knowledge of APIs and data schemas, enabling credible technical discussions and impact assessments.
• Ability to comprehend and represent data models to facilitate mock data generation.
• Strong expertise in agile delivery methodologies, including managing sprint ceremonies and comprehensive backlog oversight.
• Proven track record as the primary customer interface for complex projects, skillfully building trust, managing expectations, and maintaining clear communications.
• Extensive experience in facilitating requirements gathering and scoping workshops with various stakeholders, including creating templates, mappings, and detailed documentation.
• Demonstrated competence in overseeing User Acceptance Testing, including scenario validations, session planning, feedback coordination, and readiness planning for production deployment.
• Excellent analytical capabilities to transform unclear client requirements into precise, actionable tasks, user stories, and feasible AI solution strategies.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, capable of producing status reports and delivering engaging demonstrations to client stakeholders.
• Comfort in dynamic, fast-paced settings where delivery results directly influence client return on investment.
• Proficiency with business analysis and delivery tools such as Jira and Confluence.
