Role Summary
The Agile Project Resource serves as a critical, permanent role dedicated to overseeing network architecture, governing technology standards, and acting as the principal technical interface between the customer and DXC. The role ensures the network's long-term stability, resilience, and evolution to support business demands, security, and Agile methodologies through continuous ownership and improvement.
Key Deliverables
- A clearly articulated, regularly updated network strategy and roadmap in alignment with customer business goals
- Robust technical governance integrated within delivery and operational processes
- A dependable partnership between DXC and the customer for network services and strategic planning
- Lower operational risks through proactive design and lifecycle oversight
- Supporting Agile delivery teams early in the process to manage dependencies effectively
- High stakeholder confidence in network capability, budgeting, and resilience measures
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop enterprise network architecture covering LAN, WLAN, WAN/SD-WAN, cloud networking, data centers, remote access, and network security elements
- Define, uphold, and govern network reference architectures, design patterns, and standards
- Create and refresh a 12 to 24-month network roadmap quarterly
- Advise on technology choice, modernization, and system decommissioning
- Ensure network designs comply with security, resilience, and availability requirements
- Develop and lead network technical governance frameworks, including standards and architecture boards
- Supervise capacity planning, performance optimization, and lifecycle management of hardware and software
- Manage vendor and service provider relationships, act as main technical liaison, handle escalations and ensure SLA adherence
- Collaborate with Agile teams to address network dependencies and support smooth delivery
- Drive operational excellence through problem management, documentation upkeep, automation, and continuous improvement activities
Relationships and Decision Authority
- Interfaces inside the organization: CIO, infrastructure and network teams, architecture, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, service delivery, PMO, and product owners
- External interfaces: DXC architects, telecommunications providers, hardware and software vendors
- Empowered to approve or recommend network designs, architectural standards, strategic investments, and manage technical escalations
Required Expertise
- Over 8 years' experience in enterprise network engineering or architecture
- Proven track record in managing service provider governance and escalation procedures
- Expert knowledge of routing, switching, SD-WAN, wireless networking, network security, and cloud networking
- Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks
- Excellent communication skills to engage diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to maintain long-term accountability over complex technical domains
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or cloud networking credentials
- Practical knowledge of Zero Trust or Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) architectures
- Familiarity with network automation and infrastructure-as-code concepts

- Network uptime, resilience, and incident management metrics
- Achievement of roadmap milestones and lifecycle compliance
- Reduction in technical debt and recurring network incidents
- High satisfaction levels from internal and DXC stakeholders
- Adherence to governance frameworks and successful audit outcomes
- Effective cost control and maximizing value delivery
