Job description
Job Summary
This role provides both process and transactional support for HR systems and processes, serving as the primary point of contact for users through case management using ServiceNow, chat, and phone communications. The position manages a high volume of walk-up support and incoming calls directed to the People Operations team, resolving first-level HR support requests and supporting related tasks such as intake data management, updates to employee personal information, HR system navigation, and Leave of Absence (LOA) assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer basic guidance and navigation support for common HR correspondence, including address updates, application issues, background check corrections, and employee self-service assistance, following established procedures.
- Regularly review and update essential business processes and general master data components to maintain accuracy.
- Collaborate effectively with the People Operations team to meet support service level agreements that align with departmental performance metrics.
- Monitor HR inboxes, address queries directly or escalate complex issues to appropriate teams, including Centers of Excellence, HR Directors, or Leadership.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of two years in relevant customer support roles and experience with data entry.
- Proficient intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; ability to generate simple letters, spreadsheets, or queries; familiarity with HR systems and processes is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary for effective interaction with a varied user base.
- Excellent customer service aptitude, analytical thinking, troubleshooting capability, planning, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking when needed.
- Robust interpersonal abilities fostering positive relationships within the organization.
- Ability to swiftly analyze issues and take appropriate action under time constraints, consistently delivering quality, timely results.
- Eagerness to learn and adaptability; familiarity with SAP/HR and Workday platforms is beneficial but not required.

- Work shift: First shift, United States.
- Compensation range: $20.67 to $35.10 per hour as base pay; additional pay may apply for shift differentials, overtime, premiums, or bonuses.
