About the role

This position sits within the Client Reporting team and focuses on delivering client reports accurately and on schedule, while also handling queries, coordinating with external stakeholders, and supporting data entry and filing activities. The role involves day-to-day collaboration with the team manager and wider team to ensure work is completed in line with procedures, service levels, and escalation rules.

Key responsibilities

  • Produce and deliver reports on time and in line with the agreed schedule, while also responding to client questions.
  • Handle a high volume of client interaction for issue resolution, status updates, and coordination with external parties.
  • Carry out data entry, filing, and related administrative support tasks.
  • Follow client-specific and team procedures to maintain compliance and support service-level commitments.
  • Update customer and account records based on reports, workflows, postal instructions, or direct guidance from the supervisor.
  • Route requests originating outside the department to the supervisor for review and approval.
  • Answer incoming calls, direct them to the right contact, and escalate unresolved matters using the correct escalation path.
  • Work with system and vendor reports to ensure regulatory and non-regulatory matters are processed accurately and on time.
  • Support the preparation, tracking, and completion of assigned reports.
  • Share ideas with the supervisor to improve productivity, efficiency, service quality, and problem resolution.
  • May coach junior Account Services Specialists and help with production issues and questions.
  • Keep procedure manuals current and draft updates when process changes are needed.
  • Research and resolve account-related questions or issues that fall outside the usual daily process.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Skills and qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role or relevant work.
  • Working knowledge of investment products such as equities, fixed income, mutual funds, alternatives, derivatives, foreign securities, and exchange-traded funds.
  • Exposure to internal and external audits.
  • Strong understanding of risk and control frameworks.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with onshore counterparts and manage client queries and issues.
  • Capability to identify process gaps, strengthen controls, and help meet SLAs.

  • Interest in improving efficiency through automation and smarter ways of working.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.

Education and eligibility

Open to any graduate. A master’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, business management, business administration, or a related discipline is preferred.

Preferred experience

Prior experience in Client Reporting and Client Payments is preferred. Knowledge of the Global Plus system and CISI-IOC certification are also preferred.
