Breakout is the pioneering interactive and immersive real-life escape game in Bangalore, challenging teams to solve intriguing puzzles within a limited timeframe of 60 minutes to escape a locked room filled with brain-teasing mysteries.
Role Overview
This internship offers hands-on experience in conducting comprehensive market research primarily within the entertainment, recreation, hospitality, and retail sectors. Interns will engage in various activities such as online competitor analysis, keyword research, field visits, data collection, and report preparation to aid strategic business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform online market analysis including competitor benchmarking and keyword exploration using tools like Google Ads Keyword Planner, focusing on consumer interest and search trends.
- Conduct on-site assessments of commercial and high-street locations to evaluate visitor footfall, accessibility, occupancy rates, and demographic profiles through ground surveys.
- Compile and manage databases covering target areas such as apartments, schools, premium brands, hotels, and offices, including rental pricing and demographic insights.
- Collect and assess customer feedback through reviews, surveys, field data, and photographic documentation to gauge market demand and brand awareness.
- Develop detailed research reports, feasibility studies, and actionable business insights to support decision-making for location selection and company growth.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and keen observational abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with capability to engage property owners, local enterprises, and consumers effectively.
- Flexible to alternate between remote analysis and on-field work as project demands.
- Disciplined with respect to timelines, punctual in report submissions and follow-up communications.
- Must possess a motorcycle for travel needs.
- Willingness to travel to other cities for 1–2 weeks for research assignments as necessary.
- Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal.
Internship Details
The role is full-time and on-site at Bangalore, with an internship period lasting three months. The start date is flexible between mid-July and late August, with immediate availability preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
A monthly stipend ranging from INR 10,000 to 12,000 will be provided. Additional perks include certificates acknowledging internship completion and letters of recommendation.
