Visa Counsellor

Overview

The Visa Counsellor role is part of the Visa & Immigration Service department, reporting directly to the Branch or Operation Manager. This position involves evaluating client eligibility, travel history, and financial details to determine the best visa pathways. The candidate will also be responsible for managing client relationships, adhering to regulatory requirements, and meeting counseling objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess client profiles to analyze qualifications, travel background, and financial status to recommend best visa options.
• Achieve counseling and conversion targets as set by the organization.
• Ensure all operations comply with company policies and relevant government regulations.
• Manage client counseling sessions and foster positive relationships.
• Utilize strong communication and presentation abilities to advise clients appropriately.
• Demonstrate problem-solving aptitude, analytical thinking, and efficient multitasking and time management skills.
• Provide guidance on visa choices, immigration processes, and travel requirements.

Experience and Qualifications

• Between 1 and 5 years' experience in visa counseling, immigration consultancy, overseas education advising, or travel-related services.
• Familiarity with visa procedures for countries including Canada, Australia, the UK, and the USA is advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of visa and immigration processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational capabilities and exceptional attention to detail.

Additional Information

This role is based onsite in Chandigarh. The offered salary range is between 15,000 and 40,000 INR per month.
