This full-time Utility Worker role at Sodexo, located at Piedmont Macon North Hospital in Macon, GA, involves supporting both kitchen and facility operations by ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and orderliness in food production and service areas. Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Manually washing dishes or operating dishwashing machines to maintain kitchenware cleanliness.
• Cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces including tables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Maintaining floor cleanliness through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and overall housekeeping.
• Collecting and disposing of trash in instructed disposal zones.
• Sanitizing equipment with specific chemicals to uphold hygiene standards.
• Replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials as needed.
• Physical mobility including significant walking and standing for periods over eight hours.
• Performing physical tasks such as reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrating punctuality and regular attendance for scheduled shifts.
• Performing additional duties as assigned depending on client requirements and company needs.

Qualifications and Knowledge

• High school diploma, GED, or similar equivalent experience is required.
• No prior work experience related to the position is necessary.
• Familiarity with sanitation procedures and basic food safety principles is expected.

Compensation and Work Conditions

The position offers a wage of $15.00 per hour. Work schedules include varying shifts, with flexibility preferred.
