Role Summary

The Uniform Room Attendant is responsible for managing staff uniforms so employees are properly equipped and presented in line with company standards.

Key Duties

• Distribute clean uniforms to team members based on schedules and assigned roles.
• Receive used uniforms and make sure they are sent for laundering without delay.
• Check garments for dirt, damage, or general wear and escalate any issues.
• Keep uniform inventory and employee allocation details accurately documented.
• Arrange, fold, and store uniforms in an orderly way within the uniform room.
• Work with the laundry team on washing, pressing, and repair needs.
• Help with fitting uniforms for newly joined staff.
• Maintain a tidy, well-organized uniform room at all times.
• Adhere to hygiene, safety, and cleanliness requirements.
• Assist with related housekeeping or laundry tasks whenever needed.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Prior exposure to housekeeping or laundry work is considered beneficial.
• Strong basic skills in record maintenance and organization are needed.
• The role requires the ability to work alone as well as cooperatively with others.
• Clear communication and effective time management are important.
• A careful eye for detail and cleanliness is essential.
