Role Overview
The Teller will manage customer transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, foreign currency exchanges, and remittances, ensuring every transaction is executed accurately with strong adherence to financial compliance regulations. Exceptional customer interaction and detailed transaction handling are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Process various financial transactions including cash deposits, withdrawals, and currency conversion accurately with proper verification and documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Follow regulatory guidelines and internal security measures to prevent fraud, reporting any irregularities.
- Count, balance, and reconcile cash transactions daily, reporting discrepancies to appropriate authorities.
- Maintain comprehensive records and prepare reports to support audits and compliance activities.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
- A minimum of two years' experience in banking, fintech, or customer service roles.
- Strong numerical aptitude with analytical capabilities.
- Attention to detail and effective performance in pressure environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High ethical integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
