Trusted by millions including individuals, startups, and enterprises, our mission is to revolutionize how humans work alongside AI. Our employees, known as Notinos, focus not just on features but on shaping the future standard of teamwork in the AI age.
Role Overview
We seek an Early Career Technical Recruiter who is passionate about rethinking early career hiring to build innovative recruitment programs and experiences. This role involves end-to-end ownership of our early career hiring strategy, collaborating closely with Engineering, Product, Design, Sales, and People teams. The position is located in San Francisco or New York City, with in-office work expected on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays to foster collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage scalable, distinct internship and new graduate hiring programs that reflect Notion’s unique culture.
- Innovate talent sourcing beyond conventional campus channels by exploring communities, hackathons, open-source platforms, AI-based sourcing methods, and tailored outreach.
- Create evaluation methods that reveal candidates' thinking, learning, and creativity rather than just existing knowledge.
- Collaborate with Communications, Design, and People teams to craft and broadcast a compelling employer brand that highlights Notion as a leading place for career beginnings.
- Support hiring managers and interviewers to fairly and effectively assess early career talent with nuance and rigor.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 2 years recruiting experience, especially with early career, university, or program-centric hiring.
- Innovative mindset keen to build new frameworks rather than maintain existing ones.
- Enthusiastic about experimenting with sourcing and evaluation techniques and enriching candidate engagement.
- Strong focus on employer branding and crafting positive candidate experiences to build trust.
- Capability to transition smoothly between strategy formulation and practical implementation.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across various stakeholders.
- Data-driven approach to decision-making and identifying successful recruitment patterns.
Additional Advantages
- Experience designing or contributing to early career recruitment programs from scratch.
- Exposure to non-traditional sourcing or assessment methods with insights to share.
- Familiarity with the early career talent space in engineering and technical domains.
- Proficiency with Notion and alignment with our vision.
Compensation & Commitment
We offer competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits based on factors including location, role complexity, and candidate experience. For San Francisco and New York-based roles, the anticipated base salary range is $135,000 to $151,000 annually.
Equal Opportunity and Inclusion
We value diverse backgrounds and encourage applications from all qualified individuals irrespective of any legally protected categories. Reasonable accommodations are available during recruitment for those who need them.
On Artificial Intelligence
While deep AI expertise is not required for all positions, all team members engage with AI as collaborators to enhance their work. Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for AI-driven tools are core to our culture.
