About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Technical Engineer / Technical Trainer to join our team in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. The position involves training and mentoring students in Electronics, Mobile Repair, and Laptop/Desktop Hardware through practical, industry-relevant instruction. The successful candidate will conduct classroom and hands-on lab sessions, troubleshoot electronic devices, and assist students in becoming skilled professionals prepared for the workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct theoretical and practical training on Basic and Advanced Electronics.
- Instruct on Mobile Phone Hardware and Chip-Level Repairs.
- Teach Laptop and Desktop Hardware troubleshooting and servicing techniques.
- Demonstrate soldering and PCB repair procedures with actual devices.
- Create lesson plans, practical work assignments, and assessments.
- Supervise students during lab activities and live repair tasks.
- Perform device diagnosis and repair when necessary.
- Maintain lab equipment, tools, and inventory.
- Stay updated with the latest mobile and laptop technologies.
- Contribute to course content development and technical documentation.
- Support placement efforts by preparing students for technical interviews.
- Ensure safety standards and upkeep of laboratory tools and environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electronics principles.
- Expertise in Mobile Hardware repair and Chip-Level diagnosis.
- Proficiency in Laptop/Desktop hardware maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to identify and replace SMD components and analyze PCB circuits.
- Experience using diagnostic tools such as multimeter, DC power supply, oscilloscope.
- Skilled in IC replacement and soldering methods.
- Knowledge of Windows OS installation and software troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts.
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to teach complex technical concepts effectively.
- Educational background in Electronics/ECE/EEE/Electrical/Computer hardware fields (Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech.) or relevant experience from ITI or Polytechnic institutes.
Experience and Certifications
- Freshers with strong practical abilities may apply.
- Preferred 1 to 5 years of experience in mobile or laptop repair roles.
- Experience as a Technical Trainer is advantageous.
- Certifications such as Mobile Repair Technician, Laptop Repair, Electronics Hardware, and NSDC/Skill Development certifications are preferred.
Compensation and Work Schedule
- Monthly salary range ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 depending on experience and skills.
- Full-time position with workdays from Monday to Sunday.
