Key Responsibilities
- Design and integrate complex autonomous and fleet management systems.
- Convert business and operational needs into scalable, effective technical solutions.
- Support the architecture, integration, verification, and validation phases of system development.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineering teams to modernize existing platforms.
- Develop and maintain enterprise-grade software applications and backend services.
- Promote continuous improvement and foster technical innovation.
- Support significant deployment projects both within Australia and internationally.
Candidate Profile and Skills
The ideal candidate has a comprehensive view of system complexities alongside keen technical understanding. Experience in the following areas is essential:
- Systems engineering in software-intensive or complex technology contexts.
- Programming proficiency in C++ and/or C#.
- Expertise in systems integration and enterprise architecture.
- Managing requirements and full system lifecycle processes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies, Azure DevOps, and Agile frameworks.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Valuable but not mandatory skills include knowledge in mining, autonomous systems, industrial automation, and technologies such as AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes.
