Primary Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and onboard new suppliers who comply with stringent quality and regulatory requirements specific to aerospace.
• Negotiate and establish contracts and agreements with suppliers, including securing Non-Disclosure Agreements to safeguard company interests.
• Evaluate suppliers’ capabilities, certifications like ISO 9001 and AS9100, and overall performance to ensure conformity with aerospace industry standards.
• Verify supplier adherence to regulatory mandates and guarantee that supplied materials meet specifications required for space-grade applications.
• Continuously monitor supplier performance metrics, addressing any deviations related to quality, delivery timelines, or compliance issues promptly.
• Collaborate effectively with engineering, quality assurance, and procurement teams to synchronize supplier capabilities with project objectives.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
• At least three years of relevant experience in supplier management, procurement, or related functions, preferably within aerospace or defense sectors.
• Familiarity with quality management frameworks such as ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
• Strong skills in negotiation, communication, and interpersonal relations.
• Competence in analyzing supplier data to make reasoned decisions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.

Preferred Competencies

• Knowledge regarding space-grade materials and components.
• Hands-on experience conducting supplier audits and implementing measures to improve performance.
• Understanding of aerospace industry regulatory requirements.
